The NLSA technical director Dragan Mirkovic will be holding a soccer coaching clinic from June 20-23,08 at Marystown.
All three levels will be offered: Community Children, Youth, and Senior.
Anyone interested in coaching minor soccer or coaching an all star team must complete these courses. To register, contact Shane Dunphy before Thursday June 12,08 at 279-2392.
A soccer referee's clinic will take place from June 20 -22 at Sacred Heart Academy starting at 7:00 P.M. The deadline to register is Wednesday June 14,08. Contact Shane Dunphy.
We would like to make clubs aware of the various sources of funding that are available to help kids afford to play soccer:
KidSport - KidSport is a national, children?s charity which provides funding assistance to families to enable their children to participate in organized sport. We have mailed more information about this program to all the clubs and more information can be found on their website, www.kidsport.nl.ca
Canadian Tire JumpStart Program - Canadian Tire JumpStart is a community-based charitable program that helps kids in financial need participate in organized sports and recreation such as hockey, dance, soccer and swimming.
